BREA Outreach Road Crawl Event 2016

On July 22nd, BREA, working in collaboration with The Barbados Light and Power Company, Caribbean LED Lighting, Megapower Ltd., and Courts (Unicomer) demonstrated a public outreach motorcade broadcasted on Q.100 FM. The team ventured from Spring Garden Highway to the Alexandra School, making stops at Jordan’s Supermarket (Fitz Village), Tamarind Cove Hotel, Massy Supermarket (Sunset Crest) and Courts (Speightstown). At each stop the team distributed free energy efficiency guides, LED lights and had discussions around energy conservation with the public. The outreach was very well received with people expressing gratitude and excitement for the information and gifts. After the motorcade, BREA hosted a short town hall gathering, continuing the theme of energy efficiency and conservation.
